The cause behind the evening

Lone Star Equestrian Association provides specially trained horses, riding instruction, equipment and transportation for the Lake Houston Hurricanes Special Olympics Equestrian Team, helping riders practice and compete.

Through riding and caring for horses, participants build confidence, self-esteem and social skills while working alongside teammates, coaches and volunteers. The association also supports the ongoing care of its horses so these opportunities can continue.
